Vehicle Detail
I'm selling a 1970 Ford Bronco in good working condition. Perfect for driving around town, cruising the beach, or hitting the trails. I currently own two broncos and need to get rid of one to make room for a boat. I've owned this Bronco for just under a year and and probably only used it five times. Other than that its been stored in my warehouse under a tarp. To be honest, I bought this from a European guy's wife in Miami Beach whose husband had moved away for work and she needed to get rid of it. I never actually got to talk to the guy. So other than what I can see on the surface, I don't know much else about its origins, service history, modifications, improvments, etc but I will give the most honest description I can so the buyer knows what he's getting! The 5-digit odometer reads 39,881...but is more likely 139,881 due to age of vehicle. The 302 V8 engine runs nicely: she purrs quietly at idle until you get on the gas and you hear the V8 come to life. There is sometimes a very slight hesitation when you get on the gas being caused by a bad accelerator pump spring, I just haven't gotten around to replacing it. This only happens when it has been sitting for a while. It also has a Holley 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, brand new battery, and a newer radiator. Power steering and a brake booster were added as they are not stock options for this year. The 3-speed automatic transmission (rare) shifts smoothly, and the exhaust sounds great. I have never taken the bronco offroad or really tested the suspension at all, but it does have James Duff dual shock hoops front suspension. Interior condition is good: the driver and passenger floor boards have been nicely replaced (very common rust area for this vehicle) and the interior coated with a type of bedliner. The custom leather seats look good but have a few scuffs and small tears on the seat backs, and there are some rust flakes falling from the underside of the seats. The custom diamond plate door panels and dash are in good condition, and all the door pulls and windows work perfectly. The dash has a slot for a stereo headunit, the previous one didnt work so I removed it. The fog lights on the front bumper were tested and work fine, but they are not currently hooked up. Front bumper is waiting for the winch of your choice. All four of the BFG All-Terrain tires look brand new. Has dual fuel tanks, and the main tank is a nice high capacity aftermarket unit (I think its a James Duff 23 gal model). Paint looks very good with hight gloss but is not perfect: there are some small cracks and chips on the leading edge of the hood, and the black paint on one of the riveted fenders started flaking off and was has a noticeable repair. Has a nice 4-point roll bar, and a bikini top which definitely helps keep you cool on those hot summer days. This is a great bronco for a great I am more than happy to answer any questions I can. More pics are available upon request, and I encourage anyone to come see the vehicle prior to bidding. Vehicle is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
