All the mechanical work has been done. All you need to do is finish the painting and fix a few minor issues to complete the project. I put a ton of cash into this car with the idea of holding on to it for a long time. Things change. This was my daily driver until I inherited another vehicle that I must keep therefore, this one must go. The VIN of this car is 2574581. It is a largely original car, now in Malaga red in the early stages new paint preparation. There is some rusting on the front of the hood and around the rear window. There is a small rust spot under the passenger side window and on the lower drivers side door. The body is extremely tight and solid. It is a daily driver that starts right up and runs well. Some of the original chrome has been blacked out for a sportier look. All lights and directionals work. The interior is in overall good condition, the tan interior seats are in good condition, however, the driver’s seat has the usual tear on the seat, the carpet is new. The headliner needs replacement, and the car has the usual dashboard crack. A Kenwood stereo with CD player and Sony rear speakers were recently added. The windows roll easily, the dashboard is complete and all the gauges are present, and in good working order except for the speedometer that works when it wants to. The heater motor was recently replaced and now works fine. The odometer shows 78,000 miles, but there is no way of knowing how many miles are actually on the car. In the last 2 years I changed/replaced the distributor cap, rotor, oil, and plugs along with some of the fuel lines, fuel pump, and filter. Major brake work has also been done so it stops great. The front brake calipers, front brake pads, 2 rear brake shoes and 2 rear wheel cylinders as well as the brake fluid hoses and lines were replaced, however the car has a small brake fluid leak that requires adding brake fluid periodically. The steering is tight and does not have excessive play, the emergency brake works. The tie rods, drive train supports were replaced and all new tires were added. I addition, the header was replaced with a Stahl racing header and the tail pipe was also replaced. A new fuel tank was installed. A new battery was installed last year. All work was done by a German Auto mechanic and comes with all receipts. Overall, this vehicle is in good condition and with some TLC and paint will be enjoyed for years. It is an original car and has not been restored to show standards but once painted will be presentable and will look the way a 40-year-old car should.
