1969 Buick Grand Sport 400 "Stage One" One Owner! Barn Find!!! All Original tons of original paperwork and 2 buildsheets!!! A great Barn Find One Owner car just out of long term storage. Yes the original owner has kept this car all these years and has recently decided to part with this rare! Muscle car. Let me start by saying this is a running driving completly untouched original car yes you can drive it home and the AC works too!!! A true real deal #'s matching all original Stage One car. 69 Buick Grand Sport 400 Stage One,auto trans,ps,pb,factory A/C all complete and yes it works too! bucket seats,console,factory am/fm stereo,buick spoke hubcaps in great shape! with new BF Goodrich radial tires. the car has all the original parts except the original 4bbl carb was changed out for a rebuilt unit some years ago. The car was stored under a tarp in the barn so unfortunately it held the moisture and rusted several of the top panels but the car is rock solid underneath and the carpet has been removed just to show the solid floor pane front and back. Most of the rust you see looks worse because the owner had brushed a rust blocker on the areas that had started to rust years ago from the moisture. The interior parts that are there are in exc shape aprt from the driver side door panel, the seats are in great shape except for two seam splits in the driver seat,passenger bucket and back seat are real nice! The carpet and headliner obviously need to be replaced along with driver side door panel. the dash pad is just about as nice as you could hope for. the chrome is all the original and it actually is in very nice shape,it may actually look excellent with some cleaning and polishing as there are no pits or rust spots on the bumpers and grille chrome surround. The car is a running driving RARE! Stage One Buick GS. You can take it out and drive this rare car now or break it down and restore it up to you!!! The paperwork on the car is amazing there are two build sheets,protect o plate,warranty book,owners manual and many receipts etc. the engine is the original #'s matching Stage One engine witht he original stage one chrome valve covers etc along with the original #'s matching heads. The car is one of less than 1500 Stage One cars built and a One Owner all original fully documented car! Again the car runs and drives and the factory a/c works. You can cruise the car around the way it is or put new carpet.headliner and drivers door panel and you have a very nice interior and make a better driver. To answer some more questions, Yes the undercarrige is solid as you can see the floor pans are solid and free of rot and holes and the frame is the same,there is mud and it is dirty but thats it!!! The rust is the worst on the drivers quarter by the rear window it is rotted through and there is a hole that rusted through by the corner of the driver side back window bottom, the trunk lid is rotted through at the bottom edge and ther rain channel in the trunk at the rear by the lock area along the whole edge is rusted through.
