1953 Ford F-100 4x4 Ford 9’ rear Dana 60 front New process transfer case Ford c-6 transmission 35x12.50x15 BFG 15x10 Alcoa Rims 460 big block Griffith 4 core aluminum radiator 12 volt electric cooling fan Winters shifter Power steering Disc brakes NO LEAKS FROM ENGINE, TRANS, TRANSFER CASE, REAR END, FRONT END, AXLE SEALS, ETC.!!!!!!! THE DOORS HAVE NO SAG WHAT SO EVER WHEN THEY ARE OPENED AND CLOSED! NO RUST, NO RUST, NO RUST, NO RUST, NO RUST!!!!!! The issues with my truck are as follows · The passenger vent window is cracked · There is a dent over the drivers side cab roof · There is a dent in the drivers side bed rail · The power steering belt tensioner occasionally needs adjusted · The drive train makes some noise when not accelerating, sound like transfer case chain · The fuel line from the fuel cell under the bed needs replaced I drove the truck 30 miles this past weekend. Like any truck with big tires, she will wander the road. She is pretty loud as the mufflers are single stage. She does not have headers, exhaust manifolds. The carb needs to be adjusted, when I floor it, she wants to bog down, let off accelerator a little, and she spin tires at 30mph! She is pretty freakin quick. She has no windshield wiper arms, however windshield wiper motor works, just needs arms and blades. The glass all around is nice, no smoke or pitting normally found on older vehicles. The window regulators work, the clip on the passenger side regulator arm needs replaced, but works as it should. If the wheels are turned lock to lock the tires will rub the front fenders, needs spacers at coils The four wheel drive works as it should. The bed has a timber floor, pressure treated timber. The paint is grey with a purple flip flop in the sun light. There are a few scratches The rear roll pan is custom with recessed tail lights, all lights work as they should. The heater works, there is no Air conditioning. The battery is in a marine battery box, mounted in the bed The fuel cell is under the bed, fill the tank through bed. There is no rust on the frame, drive line, anywhere! There is no rust on the body, floor pans, cab corners, grill assembly, hood, etc.! I hate to sell her, however we are in dire need to sell house, toys etc, not a great time. I have set the reserve at 6,500$. This truck is fun, and with fixing the dent in the roof, bed rail would be show quality, again no rust, not even surface rust, garage kept. I have driven the truck up to 50 miles with no issues, always close to home though, I would highly recommend bringing a trailer. I may be able to help with delivery depending where you are at.
