1969 Volkswagon Surfer Beetle Bus Volkswagon Surfer Beetle Bus from DURHAM MOTORS, NEW ORLEANS still has dealer emblem on rear. This vehicle is painted with great read patina paint and has all the old surfer decals. It has very little rust, some on the passenger rear bottom by the front of the rear tire. There is some on the left rocker, and top of rear door (THIS IS VERY LITTLE RUST). There is some bondo over dents that were not hammered out. The floors are solid, the inter rockers are all in good condition, all the crome is in tact. There are no broken windows or mirrors, and the side door is is excellent working condition. The middle seat is missing and the horn and gas gage will need repair. It is equipped with a dual port engine and is in excellent running order. This vehicle handles and drives great it just floats down the road. The brakes have all been replaced, the wiring has been checked and all systems are in good working condition. It is equipped with a new sound system with extra speakers. It also has a GPS hook up. This was going to be pulled behind a motor home and used with all the original PATINA PAINT AND DECALS. Lots of thumbs up!! This will give someone the chance to bring it back to its original beauty. If this does not hit my reserve I will keep it and tow it as is behind my motor home.
