1996 Chevy Astro for sale with 35,680 miles. BAD MOTOR!!!, bottom bearing(s) are shot Purchased the van 1 year ago in this condition to use for parcell delivery...parcell delivery business is no more and I do not have the time nor resources to fix the motor Van interior is in EXCELLENT condition, dash is great and electronics work, seats are mint, just a couple of coffe stains on the rug Van roof is NOT fadded and there is no body rust Engine is the 4.3 ltr Before tearing into the engine did drive the van and went 60 with no issues in the tranny and stearing felt good This van would be perfect for the family or business person who has a mid-90's Astro with a worn-out body/transmistion but a still solid engine Cheaper than buying a new van One other note...I took the battery out last winter so the battery would not drain down. When I put the new batery in the milage now shows "999,999". This van DOES NOT HAVE 999,999 MILES! That would be a new world record. Van only has 35,680 miles on it, but I do not know how to fix/reset the milage readout. We have a bob cat/forklift loader on our farm that can assist with loading onto the trailer.
