Never understood the purpose of putting something you want on a watch list. My price is very, very fair considering what else is out there and the outstanding condition of the car. 1996 Corvette Coupe - ONLY 1 OF 2 BUILT ( have the paperwork ) - VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND BLACK / LIPSTICK RED - LT4 6 speed Grand Sport engine with 57,000 orig. miles ( If I told everybody the car had 1/2 the miles no one would question it ). This is an awesome non-smoking adult owner gem, that has been babied, kept in a climate controlled garage, and barely seen rain. It is in outstanding, all original condition. It is optioned out with most everything - Dual Power Seats, Bose Stereo CD / Cass. system, N84 Spare tire delete, Low tire pressure sensor, chrome Grand Sport wheels, Climate control a/c, and only year offered LT4 330 hp. engine ( $1450 option ). It has never been in accident or mechanically modified in any way whatsoever. This baby has ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT / COVERED, and never driven in bad weather. For those Corvette purists, it is definitely a must have. It is ready for car shows, look at it, or enjoy it on Sundays. The Black Paint shines like new. There is no body damage. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The chrome Grand Sport wheels have no abuse and the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires are almost new. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. I have all of the books / literature, that go with her too. This Vette is in tremendous shape and the exterior is a strong 9.5 / 10. On the inside, the unique LIpstick Red interior still looks, feels, and maintains that newer appeal. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the floor mats have mats over the mats . The door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original / impeccable. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, and 6 way power seats work without issue. The Bose stereo system still plays perfect. The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free too. Inside, it is a 9.9 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a "well-oiled" machine should. All of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the LT4 - 330 hp engine has great pick-up, and you certainly get a little more "pop" when you pull away than the standard LT1 300hp.set up. The brakes have plenty of pad left, and all of the other mechanical functions perform without issue. *** The only non-stock items are the stainless steel exhaust and short throw shifter. If you are looking for an unmolested, hard to find Vette that is nearing classic status, here you go. These cars are few and far between. I think it is priced very fairly compared to the others listed on ebay. Let's put it this way, there is no way anyone would be disappointed in this car.
