this 2001 SLT LARAMIE cummins 4x4 has got to be the nicest truck in the south, if not the country! it was bought new by father in 2001. he had the stripes painted to match his 35 ft. camper. since new, it was only used by my parents to travel the north west territories.my dad passed recently & my mother gave it to me. this truck was meticulously maintained by the local chrysler dealer in fla. & was kept under an rv carport it's entire life. since it's first oil change when new, it's always had amsoil synthetic in everything. it has never been wrecked or damaged in any way & every time it got a rock chip on the bottom, my dad took it to the bodyshop & had them touch it up to keep it from rusting. it has no rust, no dents, no scratches, & the bottom is as dry as the nevada desert, which is hard to say for a diesel. i borrowed 15,000.00 against it to do some home improvements & since i already have a 1 ton 4x4 gmc, i figured i'd just sell it to pay back the loan. here is a list of the extra's on the truck: custom paint to match the camper custom hand pinstriping to accent the custom paint aluminum roll up bed cover spray in bed liner almost new bfg commercial tires uniden pc78 elite cb w/twin firesticks custom 60 gallon fuel tank 4 inch turbo back exhaust from mbrp with heat wrap complete set of heat blankets under the hood jake brake bd fuel controller(i unplugged it because of the mileage-21 unplugged & 15 plugged in) complete set of pillar mounted gauges custom tranny by BILL KONDALAY OF DIESEL TRANSMISION TECHNOLOGIES(billett shafts, custom convertor,& custom valve body) shifts hard enough to snap u're neck. MAG HY-TECH transmission & rear diff covers i've had the truck for 6 months & since i've had it, i installed 2 new red top optimas & a new map sensor. the injection pump & lift pump were replaced under warranty. the engine mounted lift pump quit & killed the injection pump. i had chrysler install the redesigned lift pump that goes in the tank so the fuel can keep it cool. this truck is gorgeous & could probably win shows. it's an SLT LARAMIE so it has every available option for the year.
