04 September 2011 VIN: WBADN53403GF71028 This auction is for a beautiful 2003 BMW 540i M-sport w/92,500 miles. A rare car. In the U.S., the M5-style full M-tech treatment was available in the 2003 model year only, and only on the 540i. There were just over 1,000 of these sold in the US in with the M package. All 6-Speeds were M-Sport by definition. This BMW is in excellent condition. All of the electronics work correctly. The suspension is tight, motor and transmission strong, engine oil and filter changed normally every 5000 miles with current owner. Uses no oil between changes. The original factory “lifetime fill” oil of the transmission and differential were changed in January 2011. New EVO3 “Short Shifter” shorter-throw shifter was installed in January at the time of the transmission and differential fluids change. Professionally installed by independent BMW UUC Motorwerks in Alpharetta, GA. The EVO3 shifter height is adjustable to suit the driver’s preference. The car drives perfectly. The paint color is black and all of the panels appear to be original. Other than a few rock chips on the front bumper and hood, the paint is in excellent shape. The black leather interior is also in excellent condition with very little wear. There are no squeaks or wind noise. The car has been very well taken care of.
