Enjoy this rare opportunity to own a Fiat Spider in the colors of the Italian flag: Red, White and Green. My wife and I’ve playfully nicknamed her Crimson & Clover (over and over). Brass tacks are that this is the finest running engine in any Fiat Spider I’ve owned and I’ve owned several. No rust issues. The underside of the bonnet is painted red which suggests to me, at some point along the line, someone replaced the bonnet, tastefully though, as, subsequently she was painted very professionally in the rich, and matching to the rest of her body, crème color seen photographed here. A couple of dings, one in the front, one in the back rear-quarter panel, patched and noticeable only to the eyes of the discerning buyer and seller. In, short, this car turns heads. The interior is red with a deep green carpet, a truly exciting Italian concoction. There are a couple of cracks on the headrests which are photographed. The passenger seat was patched once. Also, the vinyl dash has some hairline fractures accurately portrayed, easily repairable. If I ever were to restore a Spider THIS IS THE PLATFORM that I would start with! All that said, this car, as noted before, turns heads, and would be an awesome commuter. Every other stoplight: “What year is your Spider?” or “”I had a Spider once, should never have sold it…” If you don’t want good attention, don’t buy this car!!! (yes, fuddy duddies, curmudgeons, that’s you). But if you do, and I did, (and it worked, quick courtship/marriage) it’s well worth the $5k. Worth $30k all fixed up and shipped backed to Europe once your iphone photo album is full, dating is done, and home stocked with babies as mine is.
