Vehicle Detail

1993 GEO METRO XFi 1 Litre 3 cylinder engine, runs great 5 speed transmission, shifts perfectly 2 door Hatchback White exterior, Gray interior This is a real XFi Metro, the one rated at 58 MPG by the EPA in 1993. The motor fires instantly at the turn of the key and runs smoothly and quietly. There are no leaks from the motor, transmission, or radiator. This car is 18 years old, but is very clean inside and out and even under the hood. The tires are like new with at least 90% tread. The windshields and all glass are free of nicks or cracks. This Geo is virtually rust-free including the strut towers and mounting points for the tower control arms. The car’s paint is faded and has the usual nicks and dings of a car this old. Also, there is a dent in the driver’s door about the size and shape of a football. It is a shallow dent and has no effect on the operation of the window on that door. In fact, unlike many Metros both windows crank up & down and the door latches work perfectly. All the gauges and instrument lights work as well as the heater and blower motor. The headlights, tail-lights, turn signals, fog lights, and the brake lights all work perfectly. This Geo has a radio antenna, but no radio. I don’t believe the XFi model came with a radio but one can be added as an after-market install. This car runs and drives great and will easily pay for itself in a few months with the savings in super-high fuel economy. These cars aren’t designed for family vacations or hauling/towing, but if you need a reliable vehicle to commute to work or just drive down to the local grocer for a fraction of the fuel most cars use, this may be the one for you. The fuel tank is only a 9 gallon capacity so filling it costs half as much as a large sedan but will go typically as long between fill-ups.
