Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!!!! ABSOLUTE SALE This 2005 Ford Expedition 5.4L Eddie Bauer Rwd is in immaculate condition and has been superbly maintained. I purchased the vehicle for my wife as a one-owner new car trade from the Jaguar dealership in Sarasosta, Fl. This SUV has spent its life, until just recently, in Florida and South Carolina...no snow, no salt, no rust! This has been my wife's daily driver since and we love it. Although not working in that field anymore, I was an ASE certified auto technician for 10 years so I am a very discerning buyer when it comes to my own personal vehicles. After a careful inspection, it was clear that the original owner kept up all the maintenance and cared for it well. And I have done the same. The pictures will speak for themselves as to excellent condition of the interior and exterior. (My wife is a bit of a clean freak!) The leather is in great condition as I clean and condition it regularly. The carpets are very clean, no tears, no stains. The SUV has never been smoked in. The floor mats (1st, 2nd, 3rd rows as well as the hatch mat) are brand spanking new, custom made, from the original manufacturer (a $500 value alone). The black on beige paint scheme really sets this SUV off. There are some minor scratches and nicks as with any used vehicle, but nothing out of the ordinary. No deep scratches, gashes, dents, etc... All the power options(windows, sunroof, locks, mirrors, memory seat, 3rd row seat)operate as they should. The 5.4l engine runs strong and the transmission shifts as exactly as it should. Since owning the vehicle, I have done some maintenance to keep it in tip top shape. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles religiously. Before a family vacation last spring, I had all 4 tires ($800)replaced. This was about 5,000 miles ago. The tread is still like new and they are wearing perfectly (i.e. the alignment is spot on). At the same time, I replaced the front pads and rotors, the fuel filter, and the rear differential oil (something hardly ever done). Because the vehicle had a tune up not long before I bought, there was no need to do anything else. The belts, hoses, etc... look great. This Eddie really needs nothing. There is one "problem" I should disclose. Every once in great while (its done it twice in the last 3 months), the driver readout displays the "check park sensor" message because one of the rear parking sensors in the back bumper is going bad. I would have fixed it already, but it has done it so intermittently that I have been unable to diagnose which sensor it is. I wish it would just die, but it functions properly nearly all the time. So, when it does go, you can find a replacement sensor for about $75 on the net and takes 10 minutes to replace. By the way, even when it does momemtarily blink out the rear park sensor system still functions. Now, I could have chosen not to disclose the parking sensor issue and the new owner would have probably been none the wiser. However, that's not how I am. Would a dealer have done that? I doubt it. SAVE THOUSANDS OVER DEALER PRICES AND BUY FROM A PRIVATE SELLER WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS THE VEHICLE. NADA lists clean retail at $14,725, clean trade-in is $11,525, rough trade-in $9,050. Don't miss out on a great deal! $500 downpayment is due immediately after the auction closes via Paypal. The remainder of funds must be paid with a bank certified check from a well-known, local, institution (Bank of America is preferred). International buyers are okay, but funds must be deposited electronically via bank transfer before the vehicle is released. I will be happy to work with shippers or you can fly in to the Cleveland Hopkins airport and I'll pick you up. Any questions, feel free to ask! THANKS AND HAPPY BIDDING!
