Vehicle Detail
This car is wrecked but it does not appear to be all that bad. In order to avoid a herd of deer, my son went onto the loose median got turned sideways and skimmed against the guardrail with the front of the car. The air bags did not deploy, afterwards he drove a couple miles and parked it because it was leaking power steering fluid and Anti freeze because the fans are pushed into the radiator. The back of the radiator is touching the oil filter and that appears to be about as far back as the front was pushed. This car GIAC chipped, a 2.tT Aluminum Flywheel, has Bailey Diverter Valves and is very fast (14 sec/¼ mile). It has 3 7” TV’s one flip’s out of the dash, Pioneer head unit, and a 10” subwoofer. The car is a 6 Speed with Twin Turbo’s basically a rocket ship on wheels. The transmission was replaced less than 20,000 miles ago, the rear was replaced about 2,000 miles ago, Timing belt was done at 84,000 miles, just replaced the fuel pump and filter. Tires and rims are in decent shape. Some of the lights on the dash are only partially lit but you can read them which is typical of an older Audi. This is a Great Project car for someone, I have no doubt that if you bought it and fixed it up a few parts, hood, fender, headlight etc., and with a little body work and a paint job you would have one sweet car (AGAIN). The wreck was not reported because it wasn’t that bad he drove away and nobody was injured. There are a couple other small dents in the body that have happened over time. The car has a sun roof. Car has a clean title and is registered until Next month. Because of the fluid leaks you can not drive the car home but if we pour in some fluids it is drivable for a mile or so, we live on a back road. I am not an estimator or body repair guy, I do however have a lift in the garage for oil changes, brakes and such so you could look underneath if you want. With All Wheel Drive it is great for snow and I’m telling you that all that Horse Power is getting delivered to the ground, no problem with Yields in this Baby. The more I look at it the more I think that I should fix it. I tried to take pictures from the worse possible angle to make it look as bad as possible. I put a straight edge on the front of the radiator and it was only out by about 1/2” but I know that it is pushed back overall a few inches. The radio/TV's worked when I picked him up that night and the following week when we took pictures and when we drove it in our garage but it is not working now? There is crack in the lower corner of the windshield when I opened the hood becasue it was pushed back. There is a rust spot beneath the rear door. No doubt this car is worth 10 Grand in parts but I just don’t feel like dealing with it. If you are within 100 Miles I could have my son drop it off for gas money ($50Bucks) anything over that $1.00 a mile sounds fair or I guess we could ship it if you arrange it. Good Luck, this was one sweet Ride!
