Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Old, Antique, Vintage M*(Maico) SC 500 Dirt Bike So up for your consideration today is a very rare 1984 M*(Maico) SC 500. This motorcycle has been my old friend for many years. It has won more than it’s share of races, and won me lots of bragging rights. I don’t think I can recall owning any bike that has brought me more smiles than this one has. I’ve owned A LOT of motorcycles in my day! It was in excellent running condition when it got stored indoors two years ago. Always maintained, and garaged. These are really not seen very often. It is my understanding that the engine is the Maico 490 Spyder engine and drive train. In the last few years I have used it to pick on the young guys that think they are so fast. They will come by the trailer to see about that old bike that just kicked their butt, and find an old man that was riding it, only adding insult to their injury! This bike shows to be missing the original air filter box, fear not I still have it and it is in undamaged condition. Yes, BTW it could use a new rear tire, I don’t find that unusual, it eats the rear tire every 2 or 3 rides, no matter what. This is an excellent choice for your collection, or if you are experienced enough…riding. This is NOT a motorcycle for an amateur rider! If you have not ridden one of these you will be overwhelmed by the amount of power it has. Please understand this is not bragging, I don’t want someone to get hurt on this bike, and it can happen very quickly. We do know of a trucking outfit that ships motorcycles, but you will arrange for your own shipping, WE WILL NOT DO THIS FOR YOU! We will help them load it into the truck and the rest is on you!
