Truck: 1956 big back window ford truck with a 1970 thunderbird front suspension with the 429 automatic out of the t bird (all the belts, hoses, radiator, power steering) 9" rear end is factory style so if you have to change any parts they are all out of the t bird. The motor and tranny have 19,000 miles on them. It has a holley 4 barrel electronic ignition and factory aluminum valve covers. It has 2" aluminized exhaust with turbo mufflers. Exterior: It has a reverse opening hood and three inch steel rear fenders, the body is all ford steel. This has a chrome grill and stainless steel bumpers, chrome rear bumper brackets,billet aluminum tail gate hinges, chrome inside latches with cables. the bed is oak with stainless steel strips and bolts. It has flames stained into the wood of the bed. The truck is painted turquoise top and bottom with turquoise hand painted flames by nationally acclaimed pin-stripper Eric Campbell.The bottom of the truck is painted with polyurethane paint and the exterior of the truck is painted with a base-coat clear coat. The paint job on this truck is not show but is very very presentable it could use minor touch-ups in select location. The flaws are only noticeable to the naked eye by the person/persons who wax the truck. Its a deluxe cab with all the stainless steel trim around the windows, also had stainless steel rain gutters added to it. The exterior mirrors are also stainless and billet aluminum. The truck is designed to sit low so still driveable as it has a rear sway-bar and has airbags on the rear and if you run 3 lbs of air in them the truck rides very smooth. Has aluminum step plates and mouldings on the running boards. 15 X 7 ET aluminum slots with billet aluminum knock-offs 215/65/15 Hoosier tires on the front and on the rear it has 15 X 10 ET aluminum slots with billet aluminum knock-offs 295/60/15 Hoosier tires. Interior: The truck has a grey cloth interior with a billet aluminum dash insert with VDO gauges, CD player, and vintage air that blows very cold, and stock headliner. Has electric windows and bench seat, and tilt wheel. Gas tank was removed from the cab and is now under the rear bed with the neck coming behind the tag. Summary: I've owned this truck for 20 years and has won many shows including best of show, it has also been driven on the americrusie and also to all shows in the Midwest. I am a car collector and this has been my signature vehicle for the last 20 years. Though I am an avid car collector I have come to a point when I am ready to slow down and need more room for all my grandchildren.
