Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1971 Camaro that has been tubbed with a 6-point roll cage installed. I always wanted an older Camaro so I bought this a while back as a restoration project but just don't have the time for it. It's currently red and black, as you can see in the pictures, but the original color was lime green with black stripes. I am the 3rd owner of this car and know most of it's history. It does run and drive but would need some work to make it road worthy. This would be a great project to restore or complete for a pro touring or pro street car. Here's a little of what I know about the car. Engine, transmission, suspension and wheels. It has a 355 V-8 with 10.5:1 compression, Pete Jackson gear drive, Holley 850 carb, Hooker headers with 3" turn downs, no mufflers. The engine has a little over 10 miles on it since it was built in 2001. Turbo 350 automatic transmission. New master cylinder and booster. Completely rebuilt front suspension. 6-point roll cage (installed in 2005) Full tub with coil over springs (installed in 2005). 12-bolt rearend though I know nothing about who built it or the gear ratio. Chevy Ralleys; 155/60/15 in front. 295/60/15 in the rear. The rear wheels have been banded to fit the wider tires. The rear will accept full drag slicks with no problem. Body. Stripped and repainted red with black stripes in 2001. New full quarter panels, new fenders, new front inner fenders, new core support, new upper and lower valance panels. Floor pans are in very good shape. rocker panel on the driver side has two rust holes in it. Rear panel around the light has some light rust showing. Doors do not sag when opened and close as nice, if not better, than a new car. Interior. The dash, instrument panel (gauges) and center counsel are there including the "staple" style shift assembly. Door panels and window mouldings are in a plastic tote. The headliner is in perfect conditoin along with the working dome light. The kick panels are still installed and the rear sail panels are in the car. The inside rear is all aluminum sheet metal and rivets. Electrical. All factory wiring is still intact and in working order. However, the wiring for the stereo, instruments and shift panel has been disconnected. Needs. This catagory will vary depending on which direction you plan to go with this car. So I will list items necessary to get it road ready. Taillight wiring hooked up. Driver seat bolted down. Vacuum line for the power breaks. Belt put on the power steering pump. Exhaust or at least mufflers. Fuel cell or gas tank. I use a 5 gallon gas can but certainly don't recommend this for road use! License plate bracket. Thermostat housing replaced (has a small leak). Gasket and gear oil for the rearend. If you have any questions or need additional pictures please don't hesitate to ask and I will get them to you asap. I cannot deliver the car so all arrangements to pick up the car must be made by the buyer. It can be driven onto a trailer, but not driven down the road in it's current condition. If necessary I can store the car for a couple weeks though arrangements for this should be discussed prior to bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
