The auction terms pertaining to payment, pickup, etc must be observed for this guarantee. This is a gorgeous looking 1989 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL sedan with 126k original miles. This Mercedes has been very well treated and maintained and it is a very well preserved and excellent running vehicle. With the exception of a newer stereo and CD Changer mounted in the trunk, this is a completely original vehicle . The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage. The title is clear without any liens or encumbrances. We performed a road test and safety service and maintenance service on this 420 in preparation for sale. The drivetrain in this car runs beautifully. The V8 engine is silky smooth and very strong without any issues or problems. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The matching set of tires were installed by the owner and are all showing excellent tread. All of the brake pads are in great shape as well. The oil and filters were just changed. I drove this car over a long weekend which included a 127 mile trip. I can say that this 420 ran beautifully and was a pleasure to drive. I checked the equipment in this car for proper operation. I can verify all of the following items: All of the power windows/door-locks/sunroof/antenna/seats and mirrors are working correctly. The air conditioning is cold and the heater works well. Even the headlight wipers are working. The stereo and speakers all sound good. All of the gauges and instrumentation are functioning properly. There aren’t any service or warning lights on. The white paint is glossy and brilliant over the entire body. The exterior of this Mercedes is in beautiful condition with nothing other than a few stone nicks. Both of the bumpers and all of the lower moldings are in excellent condition as well. The alloy wheels are super clean and look terrific. The interior has been very well maintained and is in extremely good condition. All of the leather surfaces are soft and supple and clean. The trunk mat is missing but all of the carpeting is clean and fluffy throughout this car. There aren’t any rips, holes or damage on the seats or carpeting in this Mercedes. All of the trim panels and trim pieces are intact and tight. The dash and all of the trim in this car is in excellent condition without any cracks, fading or other damage. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle. There aren’t any smoke odors or burn marks inside this car. This really is a beautiful 420 SEL in excellent condition. I would feel comfortable getting in and driving this Mercedes anywhere in this entire country. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $40, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or certified personal check. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends. We also sell vehicles locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
