I am selling my 1970 BMW 2800CS, I have had the car for a couple of years and purchased it locally. The car has gone through a major tune up, but it's been sitting for a while.All electric switches for the windows have been replaced, turn signal and starter switch have been replaced newer brake lines and shocks, complete new leather interior. all the windows work. The dash has a minor crack but otherwise in good condition,the door panels and the chrome are also in good condition. This car runs great and is pretty solid on the road, I occasionally drive it to work and it's solid at freeway speeds. I have replaced the side window rubbers and have the new trunk and hood rubber seal, I did not install them, because the only thing that this car really needs is a good paint job. It looks good in the pictures, but it needs a paint job, so I figured who ever is going to buy this beauty will install the seals after the paint job. I bought the car because I am in love with this model and I wanted to complete the restoration and keep it, however I have lost my storage and The H.O.A won't let me park it in my driveway. Somebody with minor expense could drive and enjoy this car as I have for the last couple of years. The prices on these cars are creeping up so it may be a little project and a future investment.
