I purchased this vehicle in1989 and have kept it in driveable condition since, i have also invested well over sixteen thousand in parts and labor over the years. Since i have owned it i have replaced one large piece of the flooring due to rust. This car has been in the Colorado and New Mexico for the last 20 years. There are spots rust(shown in pictures) under the last paint job, a beautiful pearl white, but there is no large rust holes that will need to replaced. The car is in driving condition now, but it is not a show car the original in-line six cylinder is gone replaced with a 302 about 15 years ago. The rest of the major components are number matching. This car was my high school dream and i treated it well. However when i was in college the car was parked in a neighbors garage and taken out and slid into pole (shown in pictures). The damage was minor for that accident and no attempt to repair has been made -- no bondo. One accident has befallen the car on the front bumper which shows a slight dent and bent the front fnder slightly (also shown in pictures). This car is still beautiful and the engine is running on a two barrel carb that keeps the mpg over 20 with gentle driving habits. The glide-o-matic transmission is shiflting smoothly, but this last year has developed a leak at the gasket for the pan. Two years ago the water pump was replaced and the carb was rebuilt. There is a leak in one of the rear brake cylinders that i havent fixed yet. I will check this listing often to respond to any questions posted.
