DESCRIPTION For sale is an all original 1989 BMW 325is coupe with 195,366 original miles. Runs and drives Excellent. Great example of this model. This is a very nice 325is. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 2.5 liter (SOHC) 6 cylinder. The engine runs excellent. The car has been tuned up with new spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter. The upper half of the engine has been completely rebuilt (see photos): 3-angle valve job, valve guides and seals, valve cover gasket, head gasket set, water pump, tensioner, idler, head bolts/ stretch bolts, timing belt, A/C belt, and hoses. The radiator has been flushed and filled with new coolant. All this work performed less than 100 miles ago. TRANSMISSION It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. It has good bushings with no sloppiness in the shifter. The clutch works excellent but with ocasional throw-out bearing noise. INTERIOR It has the original Black leather interior with no cuts or tears in the sports seats. They are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash does have a a very small crack (see below). The back seat is like new. PAINT AND BODY The body is in exceptional shape with the Zinnoberrot Red paint in excellent condition. It has no dents, dings or scrapes or rust on the body. The rear spoiler is beginning to show some very small age related cracking. The brake ducts are shown in black but are also available in red. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory 14" BBS wheels with brand new front tires. The rear tires are in great condition with about 80% tread. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The radio tuner is fully functional. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. The suspension is stock and is in very good shape.
