This auction is for a 1964 Mercury Comet Calienta. Car shows 66,021 miles but I will not say this is the original miles becase we aquired the car thru trading so I don't know the history on the car. I have no reason to believe its not but I don't want to make any false representations. Car starts very easy and drives great for a 64'. From what i can tell body has had some work done to it which is typical for a 64. Exterior of the car looks good. All chrome is in tact and only noticable thing i could see right off was some bubbling around the tail lights. Floor pan and undercarriage doesnt show any obvious signs of rust and looks to have been coated. Suspension is close to stock with newer model shocks added. Engine is a 289 and as far as i know not bored or stroked. Automatic transmission that shifts easily and has not hesitation. Interior of the car has good carpent and the seats and headliner are intact with no tears or issues. one or two of the chrome stips in the ceiling shows some discoloration but nothing major. All wheels and tires look good as showed in pictures. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and i will respond as soon as i can. Car is located in Knoxville, Tn which is where the transaction will take place at time of successful sale. No checks of any type or credit cards. Successful bidder with be required to submit a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Final payment to be made in CASH ONLY within 7 Days of auction ending. If final payment is not made within 7 days no depost refunded and car remains mine.
