Vehicle Detail
I received this Saturn from my Aunt. She bought the car from the dealer in Arizona, which makes me only the second owner. It has power locks, mirrors, and windows, and it also includes a sunroof (not working, but closed), ABS brakes (currently not working - probably a broken sensor), a 12 Disc CD player in the trunk (also not working, radio, cassette deck, and Polk audio speakers in the front seats. I always kept the car clean and was meticulous about maintenance. I changed the oil myself as well as the brakes and other minor maintenance items such as changing the transmission fluid, fuel filter, and coolant. This car was my first vehicle and I treated it as if it was my baby. My parents went back to Arizona and I was forced to stay in Georgia due to school. This car became my means of survival so I had to treat it well or else I would be without a vehicle and would be forced to walk. I have kept records on oil changes and also have receipts detailing various maintenance items that I bought, such as brake pads, rotors, oil, etc. I started using synthetic oil in the car a little after it hit 100K miles. Saturns are known for their longevity and this one will be able to last for as long as you want it. Gas mileage has always been phenomenal; about 33 hwy and 28 city. Saturn covered the doors with plastic so the paint will not rust and they are also dent resistant. For a car this old it still drives great, however its age is starting to show. The windshield is cracked vertically down the passenger side. The headboard is starting to peel down from the ceiling, but some strong glue should remedy the problem. The tires have about used up their lives. Don't leave the car idling for longer than 10 minutes because the fan to cool down the radiator does not come on. Just keep the car moving and you are fine. There is a crack in the right side quarter panel about 2 inches long (see pic). And of course there are some scratches on the paint, but that is to be expected for a car built in 1999. Overall this is a great dependable car that will run for a long time. I've had no problems with it and you are also rewarded with great gas mileage. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. I'm in grad school here in Texas so the car will come with a Georgia title. I also have an extra Tranny Filter that will come with the car.
