1989 Honda

Up for auction is a 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800 V-twin, liquid cooled. I am selling this motorcycle for my mother as it was my father's who passed away last year. Overall the bike is in very nice condition, runs and drives good. The tires are okay maybe 1/2 tread and the rear tire is worn to one side (not sure why) and will adventually need replacing. New battery, good exhaust, brakes, and lights all function properly. As far as I can tell all the gauges and electrical function as they should. The paint and chrome is in nice conditon with only some minor nics or scratches (on the lower plastic parts), and a couple indents on the front fender (probably from hauling the bike.) Someone who owned the bike before my father did, had the bike pin striped, and it says Grandpa on the back. They had also installed a CB radio on the bike, and I am not sure if it works or not. I did notice my father put a bigger battery in the trunk and extended the the cables. You can easily change this back to the battery under the seat, but you will have to get the proper size battery. There is a spot on the seat that looks like it has been repaired, and I did notice some of the plastic around the dash has some minor wrinkling in it (probably from sun exposure.) The right mirror housing looks like it had some repair and touched up. I tried to show everything mentioned in the photos. I rode the bike a few times, and ran fresh fuel in it as it has been sitting a long time. It runs strong, it had a little sputtering at first but it has got better the more I have been riding it. At the end of the auction I will need $500.00 down through PayPal, and the remaining balance must be paid within 7 days of the auction ending by cash, money order or certified check. I may be able to shelter the motorcycle for a short amount of time for someone, please contact me about this. Shipping arrangement of this motorcycle will be the buyer's responsibility.
