1966 PORSCHE 912 Car has original motor and trans. the engine had a complete overhaul 35,000 miles ago at a porsche dealer .The car has been sitting for a long time since 2004 it is a original owner california car that I got from a friend of mine it was his uncles the car spent its life in Santa Rosa most of the last 20 years in the garage.The car runs and drives but I am sure it could use a tune up carbs could use a cleaning and flush the gas tank would be a good idea.I put a new battery in it along with a new fan belt I also changed the oil with a new oil filter and 2 new strainer gaskets. The car is a 5 speed 3 gauge swb .pans are solid small amout of paint bubbling on top of front fender not deep easy fix. exhaust and heater parts all solid and work perfect,original everything but paint one respray 30 years ago .Car is code for aga blue can see it in alot of spots.original carpet and interior.small tear in drivers side seat back.The car would be a great car for a restore or just drive as is .had a coplete brake job just before it was parked in 2004 over 2000.00 spent on it. they still work great.all glass is original in in great condition. I have a complete log book of things done to the car over the years also the original title issued in 1966 clear and signed ready to go. my intentions were to buy it fix on it with my 14 year old son well he dont think its that cool he wants a call of duty edition jeep not a 46 year old porsche??well decided to sell it somebody will be very happy with it.underside of car and jack holes are great still have factory under coating on. I reserve the right to end auction if a offer I like comes in thanks for looking. all original rims and spare with original crested hub caps also original jack and some of the original tools. would plan on having shipped to the new home I drive around town but tires are old and think it would be a better plan not to drive it 500 plus miles before carbs and such were cleaned,my opinion ,does run and idle good shifts up and down great too.call me if you like with questions 1-920-570-3753 al On Aug-16-11 at 08:05:25 PDT, seller added the following information: update I just took it out for a 50 mile run this thing is great runs and drives beautiful if tires were new I would drive it cross country shifts like butter down shifts with no grinding at all 70 miles per hour straight as a arrow turns on a dime I felt like I was on a roller coaster the car would be a blast on a road track.all smiles had mt dad with he said it made his day..good luck you will love it ,you really need to do nothing and could just enjoy it as is . dont think carbs or tank need any attention I cant see it running any better that it does.
