The transmission has also been changed from an automatic to a manual. This vehicle belonged to my father in law who recently passed away. This car has had the engine removed and the transmission. The diesel engine has been sitting in the garage for about 15 years. The transmission is a 4speed manual. The engine is either a 190 or 200D with oversized pistons and rings. At the time of removal the engine was burning up clutches. The transmission at the time only needed a few adjustments. The car does have A/C but needed to have braces welded or manufactured. This information was provided to me by the owner's son who lives in Texas so he has only his memory to go on for knowledge of the car. I am not mechanically inclined and live a few hours away so the car is being sold as-is and basically with only the information that can be gathered from the provided photographs. I'll apologize in advance for my ignorance regarding the condition of the vehicle. Please view the pictures closely and bid accordingly. You're welcome to come and check it out of course before bidding. Again please note that the vehicle is NOT running right now. It will have to be pulled out from the pole barn and there will probably be nobody present to assist in loading at the time of pickup. The owner's son believed the car was getting in the mid 30's for gas mileage and has a 25 gallon tank. I have no idea what the Bucket O' Parts in front of the car is all about or where they go but they're included in the auction if desired by the winning bidder. We will consider offers but more than likely we will let the auction run its full course.
