Up For Auction is one 1974 Toyota Landcruiser fj 40 . I purchased this veh from Ebay in 2007 from Alaska . It is now on the east coast and has been kept in garage and only driven in the summer months . I put about 3000 miles + or - on the veh since buying . The body has no rust at all on it . The paint is in good condition . the motor runs well but could use carb work . Running rich . I have complete tuneup for veh , original exhaust manifold was sent to me at time of purchase , it has a header on it and that could be the rich issue due to lack of back pressure . The tires are 31" BF Goodrich Mud terrain , with only 3000 miles + or - a couple .The normal small leaks due to age nothing major . The throw out bearing has growled a little since i got it but is still going strong . I put approx $ 3000.00 into the veh in breaks and winch work ie :freeing up of all moving parts . The wheel cylinders were all replaced and the drum breaks have been great . The Winch is a Toyota factory option that is PTO driven and works . It needs cable to be replaced if you are going to use for recovery purposes . It travels on the highway at 65 with no problems what so ever . No shaking or swaying at all .
