For sale is a numbers matching 1970 Dodge Challener R/T with 383cid and FACTORY AIR! You will notice two sets of pictures, one set is the current condition which is ready for bodywork. The other set are pics of the car when I brought it home. These pics will let you see that this IS a complete car except for the radio! Currently the car is a 'shell' that has been professionally media blasted and then DP 90D. Those body parts that will have to be replaced were not media blasted, and you will see these in the pictures. The car was bought on Ebay from Wichita, Kansas. This is the original engine. The transmission has a broken tail shaft housing, but I have another complete 727 that would be used for parts. The rear end is a Sure-Grip 3:23. I have a set of four Rally wheels that will go with the car. I also have an unused new space saver tire that goes with the car. ALL the glass is original and unbroken or chipped. The rocker panels will need to be replaced and I have set of those from Year One. The car is completely disassembled and ready for body work. ALL the parts were carefully placed in hard plastic bins. I do not have the build sheet. Looked all over the car for it, even the back panels of the seats. It appears that the original color of the car was gold as that's what overspray shows inside the car. The floor pans only have surface rust as you can see from the pics. In talking to a couple of body shops, they recommend replacing the left rear quarter and possibly the right rear quarter. The tail lights are complete and not cracked. The bumpers are straight, but definitely need rechroming. I have about 3 radios that could be used in the car. Car does have power brakes. Drum brakes in front and rear. Upon sucessful bidding, within 48 hours, a $500.00 dollar non- refundale down payment is required. Paypal or cashier's check is acceptable. Final payment can be made within 7 days via Paypal or Cashier's check. Preferrably I would like the car picked up within 3 weeks of bidding.
