Vehicle Detail
Greetings Bidders !!!!! First off,I have owned this car for almost 12 years and it has been garage kept the whole time. This is a project car that needs some things buttoned up to be ready to drive.I have become disabled and almost 60 years old now and therefore unable to do the required work myself.Im sad to see it go but I have to let it go.Ive been a hot rod enthusiest all my life and have built several hot chevies in my past years. So building this car wasnt something new to me.I knew what I wanted to put in it and believe me,I spared no expense in the process.Only the best parts have been installed on this car. First off lets talk about the body.On a whole it is in really good shape. The paint still looks great, all the ground effects are there including all the air dam parts under the front of the car that pushes the air up through the radiator. Most often these parts are missing. The electric hatchback lock still works and the struts still hold it up when in the open position. There is no rust present as can be seen in the photos. There are some small scrapes along the drivers side with a small dent in front of the rear wheel. This is small and could probably be popped out from the inside. The windshield does have a small hairline crack about 6 inches long which is barely visible.Besides these things, everything else is good and tight. This car is not a worn out rattle trap. The cars power train is built starting with a early 1970's Chevrolet 350 small block V8 Very strong running, burns no oil and good compression , backed with a Muncie 4 speed transmission, headers and finishes off at the rear end with an Auburn possitrac with brand new Richmond 411 gear set.I start the car up several times a year.So hear it run. Now lets go through the list of new parts goodies.About 80% of these parts that have been put on it have not even been driven down the road yet. They are like brand new out of the box. 1.AGX Shocks and Struts - 5 position selctor switches for different road conditions(installed)New out of box never driven $400.00 set of 4 2.4 Centerline Prostock rims brand new.never driven. One rear has scrapes on bead edge from car dolly. This could easily be taken out with a dremel tool. These rims are the expensive ones and are NHRA approved.New $780.00 set of 4 3.Mickey Thompson Sportsman front tires.Brand new, never driven, set of 2.New $250.00 4.Competition Engineering Subframe connectors and matching ladder bar set.Installed new out of box, never driven.Cost $500.00 5.Edel Brock Performer Aluminum 4 bbl. OK,heres the replacement parts needed and to do list that will finish this baby out. 1.Cracked windshield 2.Shim rear end gear set 3.Finish running stainless fuel line from electric pump up to carb.I have the brand new Stailess Seel line for it. 4.Replace electric fan 5.Finish line lock installation.Run electric line to hurst shift with button in shift handle and bleed brakes. 6.Bleed hydraulic clutch system 7.headliner needs reinstalled 8.Bolt seats down and consoul back after I had put in new carpet. 9.Needs exhaust from headers back 10.Install driveshaft 11.Replace drivers side damaged tire. 12.Install drive shaft loop 13.needs a battery So ther it all is.If you are good with cars, there is very little that needs to be bought to finish this project car up.Anything needing reassembled,I have saved all the bolts and misc.stuff.I know when I had done some of the work and drove it for a breif while that this car was a very strong runner and was what I call scary fast. Now that its going to be running even stronger with all the new parts and rear end gear change,OH Boy Look out !!!!!!! My reserve is low for the value of just all the parts alone. If I was able to finish this up,I would or if I was physically able,to part out this car I would recoup much more of my investment but as they say in France Cie la vie, this is life !!! I have to the best of my abilities tried to honestly tell all there is to know about it.If you have other questions please feel free to email me or call at my home number.I am there most of the time as I dont work.My number is 812 859-3746 Thank you for looking and happy bidding On Aug-13-11 at 15:08:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Winner must Paypal a $1000.00 deposit within 24 hours of auctions ending time and come and pick up the car here at my home(unless we agree on an extended pick up date) within 7 days of auctions ending date and with balance of payment and trailer it home.No shipping service. Thanks
