Beautiful and rare car!! This is a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with 37,000 ORIGINAL miles on it. It is a classic but just like a NEW CAR! ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT! I have approximately 60 pictures I can forward to you upon request. You will be able to see and appreciate every angel. The car was bought new and owned by the same lady who just recently passed away. This literally is a tale of the car that belonged to the little old lady only and we have ALL the documentation to prove it.....She bought this car NEW December 1985. We have the original bill of sale, dealer window sticker, and purchase receipt. She was the sole driver of the car, kept it meticulously maintained and cleaned, and always kept in her climate controlled garage when she was not driving it. Also with the car is the original Ford warranty info booklet, owners guide book, and anti theft wheel key. Some basic car info: 1986 2 door sedan, 5.0L engine which has 8 cylinders and is fuel injected, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, midnight canyon red metallic exterior, canyon red plush twin comfort seats, luxury seat trim, upgraded factory carpeting, seat back map pockets, rear seat arm rest, dual beam dome lights, midnight canyon red vinyl roof, original front and rear floor mats, illuminated entry system, autolamp system, good convenient spare tire, cornering lamps, electronic digital clock, tilt steering wheel, speed control, dual 6 way powered seats, front and rear bumper rub strips, rear window defroster, automatic climate control air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with cassette, locking wire styled wheel covers, dual illuminated visor mirrors, chrome rocker panel moldings, power antenna, premium sound system, power locks..... This car is a real classic and all original. The inside appears like new. Dash is perfect. The floor mats are original as well. The headliner is perfect.The exterior paint is good and shines brightly. There are a couple of very MINOR cosmetic issues which can be seen in pictures. 2 very small dings above rear fender well on drivers side...scratches in one area by drivers door.NO RUST. This car has never been wrecked/hit or had any reports filed. The body is good and straight as would be expected for a well maintained car with only 37,000 miles on it. The vinyl top is in great condition as well. The car starts right up and runs PERFECT! There are buttons inside of the glove box to open the locking fuel door and trunk.When you open a door to the car lights automatically come on and turn off for your convenience. Known issues with the car: The drivers side seat belt has been recoiled and is not winding back up automatically. The passenger side window is either off track or needs a new window regulator. It DOES have power and the switch is good. Both issues are minor easy fixes. This car is being sold as is...as the original owner left it. ALL glass in the car is free of any defects. NOTE: this car has NOT been detailed for selling purposes.....the car was always kept clean by the owner and what you see is the result of proper and continuous care. This car has absolutely NO leaks and certainly does not smoke. The plates and registration are current until the end of this month. We have the original and clear title with the car and also ALL paperwork required, as instructed by the Department of Motor vehicles, in order to transfer this to the new owner.
