Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1972 Dodge Charger SE, it was a factory big block 400 2-barrel car, but now has a 440 4-barrel, 727 automatic, it reatains the factory 8 1/4 rear end. The 440 starts and runs good but is a bit cold natured, sometimes requires priming the carb a bit to make it run, the tranny shifts good also, but the brakes are bad on the car so it can not be driven, it will have to go on a trailer or roll back. All the floor pans in this car need either patched or replaced, but all the frame rails, torque boxes and cross members are rust free, outside the car the front and rear valances are rust free and in good shape, the quarters are very good for there age but have small spots either in front or in rear of the wheel, the wheel houses are very good and look rust free as well. The rocker panels and doors are 99% rust free ( the driver door has a small spot on the outside corner) but is very easily fixable. front driver fender looks rust free, but passenger fender has some rusr spots on the top by the hood and a few other small areas. The hideaway headlights look great and are not broken or cracked anywhere, but I cant make them open, when I got the car they were open, but after playing around with it, they closed and I cant get them to open back up, but they look great and have very minimal if any pitting. The bad new on this car is that it had a vinyl top and the roof panel is very rusty. The factory buckets are in the car and are very solid but need recovered, same with the back seat, console is good but has a one small crack, shifter seems to work properly but the handle is gone. This car has the rallye dash panel with clock and 150 mph speedo, shows 38000 miles, im sure its 138000. Trunk floor is crusty all over but solid as a rock with no holes that arent supposed to be there, there is rust on the underside of the deck lid, probably needs replaced. All the magnum 500 wheels are there and look pretty good, there are front and rear bumper gaurds on the car and they all look great. Im sure Im leaving stuff out, but feel free to ask any questions, $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close and balance due within one week of auction end, pickup details can be discussed with me. This car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to close the auction at any time until the reserve is met. Thanks and good luck.On Aug-11-11 at 17:00:05 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has a clear MO title. thanks.
