Vehicle Detail

Because ebay does not reconize the VIN# i had to list it as a 1980. Just for the record the title is clean and it was titled in MA as a 1989 kit Ferrari . Up for auction is a running & driving 1989 Ferrari 328 GTB replica. It is built on a modified 1986 Fiero GT chassis. The body is reinforced fiberglass and is very strait. Car has rebuilt Pontiac 2.8 liter V6 engine with 4600 miles on it, paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. Transmission was just replaced 500 miles ago, and came out of a 30,xxx mile Fiero. Clutch was replaced at the same time as the transmission with a (stage 3) 6 puck XTC clutch. Clutch is rated for 300hp. Some other things that were just replaced with in the last 500 miles are: starter, battery, clutch slave cylinder, front brake calipers, front brake pads, rear brake pads, cooling fan, cooling fan relay, engine temperature sensor, brake lines to rear of the car. The car has custom dash, center console, door panels, and seats to look more like the original Ferrari 328 of its time. Seats are not in the best condition but are comfortable. Drivers seat has wear from getting in and out, see pictures. Over all interior is a 7 out of 10. Its complete and everything inside of the car is functional, including the heat and A/C. Has custom stereo with amp behind seats, see pictures. The exterior of the car is in good condition I would rate it 8 out of 10. Reason for this is that there are two decent size paint chips on hood, and the rear deck lid has some paint that is bubbled up. Personally I believe the reason the paint is bubbling is due too a poor prep job prior to painting the car. But it still is very shiny and looks good from a few feet away. Now for the bad. The things that are not working: tach, horn, e-brake cable is broken, exhaust manifold has small leak but its not crazy loud, power antenna is broken, two vents are missing from dash, and two are broken. I’m sure I’m missing a few things to tell about the car. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The last thing I want at the end of this auction is negative feedback. Feel free to contact me prior to bidding to view the car in person or to request more pictures of the areas that concern you. For you convenience my phone number is 860-595-6665. Please leave me a message and I will call you back as quick as I can. The car is fun and fast, and handles like its on rails. It a real head turner, and gets plenty of attention everywhere it goes. I have even been stopped by Ferrari owners a complimented on the car. I reserve the right to end this auction early for this vehicle is also for sale locally. Good luck and happy bidding!
