Up for auction is my beautiful Dusk Blue Z/28 unrestored and highly detailed. This is a rare Los Angeles April 1969 built ORIGINAL Z/28 and dealer ordered Dusk Blue, and remote control o/s mirror. Period correct 4 bolt DZ 302. Internals include stock solid lifter cam and unturned 1178 crank with standard diameter journals both mains and rods. Original intake with the correct 4053 Holley carb. Original 186 FI heads with SS valves, original 8 inch harmonic balancer, timing cover, original 11 inch cast iron fly wheel, original bell housing, original pullies, Smog and original hoses. I have installed HEI ignition for reliability. The correct GM exhaust manifolds with the correct dual exhaust and muffler. This motor is not numbers matching and came with the car when I bought it. It was blue printed and assembled by Larry's Engine and Marine in Tucson Az. This is a very strong and beautiful engine and sits beautifully in a highly detailed engine compartment. The interior is original and the front seat covers were replaced but I have the original covers and will ship with the car. Console is original and all original gauges work. All clear plastic guage covers are free from scuffing. All seat belts original including the shoulder harness belt. All side glass original LOF, new back glass PPG, I have the original back glass and will go with the car. Windshield is Guardian. Oil pressure is 70 - 80 cold and 55 lbs warm. The Dusk Blue is the original color with white stripes, and has never been any other color. I have had it repainted and is a 9 of 10. Correct T3 headlamps, and all side markers, tail , brake , parking and back up lamps work. Reverse lockout linkage original and works locking out linkage in reverse when key is removed. The rear end is original to the car 373 Posi 12 bolt. The transmission has been replaced with a Borg Warner T 10. Original Hurst linkage with chrome shifter ball. Original gauges speedo and tach. I have babied this car the 12 years I have had it and has been garaged in a controlled environment. This car has never been restored and all body parts are original sheet metal, laser straight and have never been removed. NO RUST anywhere. The radio has been brought back to a AM FM Blue light with four speakers and it works great, all speakers Delco and original speaker covers. Orinigal ticker clock in excellent working condition. The wheels are the correct GM rallys 15 X 7 with two being the correct YH code. Goodyear bias ply raised white letter tires. I have what is left of the original build sheet found above the gas tank and all codes are matching to a original LA built build sheet. New rear brakes, and wheel cylinders, Original brake booster. Original power steering and all original suspension with the 4 leaf - leaf springs, and original diameter front and rear anti sway bars. Steering linkage all original. This Z is near perfect without being restored, a ture survivor. The underside has been painted black in its earily years and I have left it that way. I purchased this car because it has not been molested and not restored. Over the years I have slowly detailed this to what I feel is a true representation of its original condition. There is a rear main seal oil drip, no other leaks. I have decided to sell my Camaro as my wife and I are down sizing and moving into other interests. Bid with confidence you will not be disappointed.
