Vehicle Detail

1974 Porsche 914 Thanks for looking at my 1974 914 1.8 in Ravenna Green. This car is absolutely rust free and runs terrific. I had it media blasted in 2009 and surprisingly we found virtually zero rust. We then refurbished the car and painted back to the original Ravenna Green. The Fuel injection system started to become problematic so I replaced it with dual Weber’s and the car runs perfect. I would drive this car anywhere. It always starts, idles perfectly, and runs like it should. I still have the original fuel injection system that goes with the car should someone ever want to tackle that project. The interior is near perfect; however the dash does have a few cracks. The brakes and tires all have less than 500 miles on them and the car also has new rotors. The headlights, tail lights, brake lights and turn signals work. Glass is all good and windows roll up and down as they should. New carpet, seats, backrest, door panels, and vinyl. Targa top in great shape. New paint. The car presents itself very well but still has a few minor things left to do. Here is everything I can think of: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Front windshield trim was ruined while removing it for paint, I have the black rubber trim kit but it is not installed yet. The blower for heat and vent does not blow. The radio does not work. The interior light on the back rest does not work. The left and right side marker lights do not have bulbs in them. Headlight plastic surrounds were misplaced during restoration. The torsion bars that hold the trunk up are missing. (I may still have them but they are not installed). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So enjoy the photos and let me know if you have any questions. Also, I noticed I left the truck lid open when I took some of the pictures.....Sorry. Thanks, let me know if you have any questions. PS…….I’m not a dealer, just a classic car guy (also a PCA member) that’s selling his 914. Clean clear TN title. I'll try and post a video later if i can figure it out. PSS.....Before I start getting 60 emails asking me my reserve and why I'm selling please see below. The reserve is set very modestly, so you will know it when you hit it. Why selling? * Kids in college....well, yes but thats not the reason. * Getting to old to get in and out.....ummmm, no I'm still in my 40's. * The economy and job status......Nope, love my job and doing fine. * Wife says it has to go......Come on, does that ever really happen. (plus my wife is great) I'm just ready for a new project. Figured out the video upload......will try and get some more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgVcLX6hV8U On Aug-06-11 at 18:43:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Here's another video.........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhL2-1pRTFY On Aug-06-11 at 18:47:21 PDT, seller added the following information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhL2-1pRTFYOn Aug-06-11 at 18:52:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Hmmmm, the second link didn't work so please see the third.......And yes I forgot to close the trunk all the way. ( Thanks to those who emailed me to tell me).
