From dry sunny southern California I have this very nice 1967 Buick Skylark convertible for sale. Overall it is a great driver that gets lots of attention wherever it goes with it's great classic looks along with nice custom touches. The cool features of this car are power 4 wheel disc brakes, a 2 inch drop front and back, and Boyd's 17 inch wheels. It's an original factory AC car too. The body is very straight and rust free with an approximately 5 year old paint job, with no signs of bondo or rust repair, repainted in 2002 Audi TT Nimbus grey pearl, including all door jambs and trunk lid and jamb. All the body gaps are excellent with no signs of prior collision damage, only minor dings are present. There is a lot of texture in the paint which additional color sanding and polishing would help, but isn't necessary. The bumpers have good chrome, and the outer weatherstrips are new. It could use the vertical weatherstrip on the quarter windows.Glass is factory tinted with a new windshield and excellent side glass. The power soft top is less than 5 years old and in excellent condition. Underneath there is no rust at all in the floorboards, and no rust scale in the frame or suspension components--typical CA rust free quality. The trunk has the original mat still with some minor surface corrosion under it. The trunk has a new weatherstrip. The wheels are Boyd's 17x8 with newer Falken high performance tires. The interior presents well overall and is original in appearance, seats are in very good condition, dash pad is excellent, dash bezel is nice and clear, carpet is good with some sun fading, and door panels are good, The courtesy lights work, gauges work except for clock, radio is original but doesn't work, steering wheel is original with some cracks in center, and the console is in good condition. Seat belts are there and in good condition. The lights, turn signals, and wipers work great. The engine is a stock Buick 350 with rochester 4 barrel carburetor, exact year unknown, according to the previous owner. The engine starts and runs well, doesn't smoke, and is mated to dual exhaust out the rear of the car. The transmission appears to be the original powerglide, going to the original rear axle, The transmission shifts smooth and the rear axle is quiet.The brakes have been upgraded to 4 wheel disc, with drilled and slotted rotors, and power assist. The car also has factory power steering which works great. This Buick came from the factory with air conditioning, but the compressor and hoses are gone, however the bracket for the compressor is there along with the condensor and associated parts. This Skylark is a great hop in, drive, and enjoy as is car. It drives well on the freeway and in town, has great brakes so it stops well, steers effortlessly with the power steering, and has a power soft top that makes it easy to go topless. This car was owned by a Navy guy who bought the car in California, was moved to the east coast and Florida, took the car with him, and then brought it back to California again, but retained the Antique Florida plates. The car has a clear Florida title. Odometer reads 37,935 miles, however actual mileage is believed to be 137,935. NADA low retail is in the $11,000 to $13,000 range, and average retail is about $19,000, so this Skylark is priced reasonably. Also, I've just added some pictures(used flash) to show the floorpans of the car and how solid they are, and two of inner quarters.There is some surface corrosion there that could be sanded or wire brushed off.
