THIS IS A PARTS/AND OR REPAIR CAR THIS CAR WILL NEED SOME WORK. I OVERHEATED AND IT WILL PROBABLY NEED AN OPERATING: 1. ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION MODULE 2. STARTER. It will also need a battery. The interior needs a little work (just front seats). The trunk latch is not catching. REMEMBER. THIS IS A PARTS OR REPAIR CAR. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO FIX YOURSELF OR KNOW HOW TO FIX YOURSELF, THE REPAIRS THAT IT WILL NEED WILL BE COSTLY WITH A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC. I WILL SAY THIS THOUGH. I PUT A BRAND NEW CLUTCH, CLUTCH HOUSING, AND CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER IN IT ONLY 2000 MILES AGO, SO WHEN IT IS RUNNING, IT RAN 80 MPH NO PROBLEM. The a/c will need to be charged. The convertible motors do not work ( its easier and faster manually anyhow). There are light surface rust areas (nothing major, car is still solid and driveable. I bought this with the sole intention for my young son and I to cruise around and see the stars at night. We lived out in the country, so thats what its all about at night. This car was getting 27-28 mpg on the highway just easy. It was my just RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. It ran like a champ, until a hose blew on top ( a small slit) and it just overheated. I just parked it, and was going to make a shady tree mechanic project. Its hotter than hades in texas right now. Anyhow, I bought another 900 ( i got a great deal on it), so i dont need this one anymore (added picture in this ad). The convertible top on this is worth $300-$400 alone. its perfect and new. Comes with a GREAT ALPINE STEREO AND SPEAKERS. THE TIRES ARE AT LEAST 85% TREAD. GREAT TIRES. So if you are looking for parts. This is a great candidate. If you put about 400 dollars worth of USED PARTS ONLINE, and do the work yourself this care will definitely run another 100,000 miles. EASY. With care and maintenance of course. Its a big body older Saab. Gets 28 mpg. Its a convertible. Thats why I love these cars. I am six foot 2 , about 240 lbs. Its got plenty of room. Swedish built cars . These have the wider wheel base. With the engine and transaxle up front, the weight with these good tires was cutting throughs SNOW AND WINTER CONDITIONS like a hot knife through butter.
