1961 MG Midget MKI... first production year for MK Series. 948cc engine... (stock). This car has no more than 1000 miles on it since complete ground up rebuild. Beautiful solid wood dash... Unfortunately it is not currently running. I was driving it a few years ago and it died... I was in my neighborhood and pushed it home.. I took a look at it, fuel and compression were good, but no spark. I bought a new (used) voltage regulator and a new coil and installed both... but it did not help... I have regularly taken it out of the garage since, to crank it over/ Shift it and work the brakes, all just to keep them active... but I have not found the time to really get into the problem. I have been planning to get it to a repair shop and have it fixed, but have not found the time.... I am ready to sell the car... I have had the car for 35+ yrs. It is in great shape, one small dent on driver door, otherwise very nice. It has a brand new top... This car is worth $6K+. This is a VERY rare car and a bargain, once you get it running. I can not seem to find another '61 in the US, except one '1963' in Antique Auto Trader for $9500+... and I find them in Europe for 7K Euro (about $10,000)+, this really is a VERY rare car... try to Google another one....
