1971 Honda CB

This is a mostly original 1971 Honda CB750. It has been on display in a private collection for over 20 years. The bike was started and ran fine a little over a year and a half ago. The engine has been turned over monthly to keep the lubricant circulated and everything protected. The brakes and clutch are also lubricated and operated monthly to keep them moving free and operational. The original odometer, as you see in the pictures, shows a little over 12,000 miles. All of the chrome is in very nice shape and shows no rust or damage beyond a very light ding in the front fender (see image). The Firestone tires stay inflated and have lots of tread. I also have the original air cleaner box and headlight for the bike that will be included in the sale. These parts are in the same good condition as the rest of the bike so they could be bolted back on the bike if the new owner desired. I am offering this beautiful bike for sale because I have a collection of motorcycles and cars and I am running out of room. As much as I hate to sell it, I would rather see it go to a collector that will appreciate and preserve it for future generations than to see it damaged because of overcrowding in the garage.
