Relisted because the auction ended without a sale. This will be the last time I try to sell this bike. It must be a sign or something. 2003 R1150GSA Adventure I’m selling my dream bike. It’s a shame but it has to happen. It’s been ridden but not hard. It’s got 133,000 miles and climbing. I’m still riding it. Never dropped (that I know of – not since I’ve owned it anyway and I'm the third owner.) And stored in climate controlled garage during the winter months when it’s below zero outside. No rust. No dents. No dings. No signs of abuse anywhere. Heated Grips. I’m 46 and have owned it for the last four years enjoying every minute of it. Everything works as it should. All Maintenance has been performed as it should. Valves were recently adjusted, rockers adjusted, throttle bodies checked, oils changed with BMW oil (expensive though. Personally, I would go back to Mobil 1). This model came with ABS and the previous owner had it professionally removed. You cannot simply just snip the wires or whatever, it has to be disabled and yet the linked braking was preserved and I can tell you it’s a blessing. With the braided steel lines this bike stops on a dime. Every time. And the ABS doesn't wash you out in the dirt roads. Nice. If you're here looking at my bike you already know these bikes. Rear Trunk (holds a full face helmet) Good Tires (two years and 2K miles) Braided Steel Lines – Every bike should have these. No Dents – every bike should be this way too. I'm not asking $17,000 or even close to $10,000 - It's a deal for the buyer because I need it gone quickly. So don't be THAT GUY that offers me $2500 cash in my hand right now. It aint gonna happen.
