Vehicle Detail
You are looking at one of the finest 1933 Ford Highboy Roadsters around. The body and frame are the highest quality from Heritage Custom Body and Chassis. The hood and louvered side panels are crafted by Rootlieb, Inc. It is powered by a Chevy 454 bored to a 461 cubic inch with Comp Cams hydraulic cam (218/218, 454/454), aluminum Edelbrock Performer heads with roller rockers,Edelbrock Performer intake and dual Edelbrock 1405 600 cfm four barrel carburetors. The transmission is a Chevy 700 R4 with shift kit, Corvette servo, Xtreme convertor and modified valve body, and a beautiful Lokar shifter. All this power ends up at the 8 inch Ford rear end with 3.73 gears, posi-traction and adjustable coil over suspension. Cruise at 70 mph at 1500 rpm with the overdrive turned on. The deep, low rumble of this powerful big block travels through Sanderson block hugger thermal coated headers, 2 ½ inch exhaust, polished Magnaflow mufflers and polished Magnaflow exhaust tips. An electric fan never allows this monster to overheat. 165R15 Michelin’s in front and 33X12 Yoko’s in the rear ride on American Torque Thrust wheels giving this roadster an amazing stance. Wilwood disc brakes in the front and rear drums bring this beast to a stop. The beautiful paint is Porsche Indian red base coat clear coat. The custom interior is tan with brown carpet, with a Glide Engineering bench seat. Driver and passenger side carbon fiber seat heaters keep you warm on those fall cruise nights. Beneath the carpet is a layer of Dynomat Xtreme to reduce heat and noise. A tan leather wrapped banjo style steering wheel sits atop a polished Ididit tilt steering column with Ron Francis switches. Vintage style gauges are by Dolphin and the wiring harness is from E-Z Wiring. Tunes are provided by Custom Auto Sound Secret Audio System with Apline speakers and Kicker amplifier and subwoofer; Clear, incredible sound at any speed in the open air. Shade yourself on the hottest days by attaching the Sid Chavers custom Bop Top. Every detail of this beautiful roadster, down to the stainless steel fasteners, turns heads wherever you go. Stainless steel braided lines with AN fittings give the engine, transmission and fuel system that show look. In fact, she has won trophies from each show entered, including Best of Show. Hood panels can be removed for different looks. She has 2400 miles since completion and comes with all receipts and specs. Georgia will not issue a title on old classics, but accepts a bill of sale. You won’t come close to building this car for the asking price, and you may never find another one with a big block!
