Vehicle Detail
Selling a 2003 Toyota Matrix XR. It's silver/goldish in color, with a black interior. The XR model has the power options (windows, mirrors, locks, steering, brakes). This one has the optional power glass sunroof/moonroof, and optional 110V power outlet. Also equipped is air conditioning, which works perfectly. The XR models like this one is also equipped with the lower spoiler/lip kit. This car is automatic, and front wheel drive, with only 88k miles. The car also has the optional Toyota cargo net, and we had HID headlights installed. This car has been in my family since 2005. My fiance bought this car in mid 2005 to replace her old car at the time. If remember correctly, it had roughly 32k or 33k miles at the time. We purchased this car from the Kennedy dealership in Conshohocken, PA. We purchased an extended warranty with the car, which has since expired. From there, the car has gone in my name in 2009 or 2010, as I was working out of state and used this car. Afterwards, it was registered in my father's name. 5 calculated owners as per Autocheck, but there was really only 4 total. First is the original owner, who I do not know, from PA. It was traded into the dealership which my fiance purchased from, in Conshohocken, PA. My fiance being owner #2 (New Jersey). #3, as per Autocheck is when she got a duplicate title, for me to title and register this in New Mexico. 4th calculated owner (the actual 3rd) would be me, titling this in New Mexico. 5th calculated owner (actual 4th) is my father, in New Jersey again. The good is that the car only has 88k miles. Toyotas run forever. There is nothing mechanically wrong with the car at all. I would trust this driving cross country and back with a baby in the car with no cell phone. This car was actually driven from New Jersey to New Mexico, stayed there for a while and was driven back without skipping a beat. No accidents, just parallel parking scrapes, as seen in the pics). We change the oil religiously in this car, and is washed often. Brakes were done about 2 years ago. Wheels and tires were purchased in March 2010, but weren't installed until 2/2011 (they were originally purchased for my sister's Scion tC, but she ended up not using these, so they sat in an indoor garage until earlier this year). The tires have a lot of tread left on them. The wheels/tires are Enkei FD-05 wheels, 17x7.5", with Falkin RT615 tires, 215/40ZR17 and locking lug nuts. 3 of the 4 tires have a lot of meat left, and the 4th is brand new (just mounted on Thursday, 7/21). I bought the road hazard package with the wheels/tires at the time of purchase, and one tire popped, so Tire Rack replaced it under that warranty for about $20. The warranty will be included and transfered to the buyer. They cover the tires from damage all the way down to 3/32nd, which gives plenty of time. Wheels/tires/road hazard alone was over $1000. The bad. This car did live a few years of it's life in an urban area, with street parking. The bumpers do have some scuff and scratches on them. Front bumper has a snall tear on the left front corner where it meets the fender, as seen in pics. The original front spoilers (it's 3 pieces) were in bad shape, from going up low driveway and scraping, so we recently had brand new ones installed. The hood has been repainted due to rock chips (from lots of highway driving), but the paint is chipping again (see pics). The right mirror also has some rub marks on the housing (may be able to be polished off through detailing). Also, the CD player sometimes gets stuck. Radio works fine, and CD works sometimes. If you decide to replace the radio, they are all over eBay pretty cheap. Overall, the car is in good shape. Looks as well as any other 2003 car that has ever been in a city. Pictures show all of the scratches and what not. A few years back, we had remote start installed in the car. We have since lost the remote for it. I will have a new one this week, and will be included with the same of the car. I do have both original Toyota keyless entry remotes as well as 2 keys. This car has a clean title, and is registered and insured at the moment, with no liens. Ready for sale. Car and title will not be released until the full payment is made. I ask for a $500 Paypal deposit, and balance within 7 days via the form of a certified check or cash. I'm not a dealer, so there's no warranty expressed or implied, other than the Tie Rack road hazard warranty that will be included. Also, since the car has under 100k miles, it is eligible for aftermarket extended warranties. Sale isn't limited to the local areas. I can have the car transported to you, at your expense. I can help find a transport company and help load it if need be. This is just an extra car in the family now, so it's for sale. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Happy Bidding!
