The top speed on this truck is over 75 mph. When the truck was brand new I drove it around town for 30 miles and the volt meter showed the batteries at 50% remaining. From this test I calculated the maximum range as 50 to 60 miles, however I have never driven that far on a single charge because that would shorten the life of the batteries dramatically. I always try to keep the depth of discharge to 50% or less. I have driven this truck 22 miles on the freeway at 55-60 mph. The range will vary with air temperature and terrain and speed driven. The heater is a 1500 watt ceramic electric element mounted in the original heater box. The drivetrain uses the 5 speed manual transmission with the standard clutch. The motor transmission adapter was built by Electro-Automotive. An aluminum flywheel was used to save on weight. Battery boxes are custom made out of 1/4 polypropylene with an angle iron frame. This keeps things nice and clean. The body and paint are in very good condition for a 1993 model with very minor flaws and dings. See pictures for detail. Buyer makes and pays all shipping charges.
