Up for auction: 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ Fuel Injected LT1 Chevy 350 Conversion w/cold air intake (around 315hp)--completely gone through and rebuilt 1000 miles ago 4L60E Auto Tranny (has overdrive!) --completely gone through and rebuilt 1000 miles ago. Conversion parts bought through Novac and Advanced Adapters New painless wiring harness New reverse flow radiator for LT1 conversion and large electric fan New tinted soft top New 4" lift from Collins Brother's Jeep in Wylie, TX, w/ Bilstien shocks Custom long arm lower control arms. New custom single exhaust and muffler New brakes front and back, and new master cylinder Custom bumpers--front and back Custom 17" wheels with 35" MT tires 70% tread life Interior seats from a 2005 Wrangler for better look and comfort (tumble rear seat). Paint is textured flat black Jeep looks and sounds MEAN!!! Photos were taken by my camera and do not do it justice... Do not bid if you do not have any history purchasing or selling on Ebay. All payments through paypal will have the charge added to total bill. For those of you who are not familiar with the V8 LT1 conversions--this brings your jeep to a whole new level. Gone is the heavy, uneconomical stock engine with low horse power, and replacing it is an engine that weighs near the same, with more horse power and more torque, but increased gas mileage. (This jeep went from 100 hp to 315 hp!!! and gets a lot better gas mileage--20-25mpg). Original miles on the jeep says 119k...but this Jeep is almost brand new with all the new and custom parts. It is blacked out. The jeep does have a couple of needs. I have a complete set of new, aftermarket gauges for the jeep that I have not installed. The stock gauges do not work with the chevy motor and tranny--different pulse signal. I do have a temp gauge and tachometer set up in the interim. Jeep needs to have the knock sensor installed and wired (will come with the jeep) Jeep needs the alignment done. It drives down the road great...the steering wheel needs to be set straight with the wheels (just a little off). And there are a couple wholes in the tub where the previous owner had put some rock gaurds on. I was going to purchase new rock gaurds and install them...problem solved. Jeep windsheild has a couple of cracks--but they are cheap to replace. Engine starts up great and sounds aggressive, but not too loud--enough to get attention when you accellerate and blow past the corvette at the light. Soft top is in PERFECT condition. But this is a used 1997 Jeep so there will be some normal wear and tear. Jeep is being sold as is with no warranties or garuantees. Winner of action will get both the Jeep and Chevy Haynes manuals, and any parts for the jeep I have laying around. One thing I will garuantee, you will notice a huge difference from this jeep and any stock jeep you try to drive. There is noooo comparison.
