There are many Spiders, very few “Sport Spiders”, this model was called out in 1975 by Fiat as stronger, sexier: taut springs, a low, rumbling exhaust and a force to be reckoned with. Modern. Safe. If ever there were a rare spider, Moonstruck is it, (ironically photographed in sunlight, equally awesome, for this listing)… Robust, straight and true, frankly, one new father wants to keep his sportscar, but a new arrival (via stork) compels otherwise. Perhaps the prettiest Spider on the road, but I’m biased… here are some objective facts: · Brand new Pioneer stereo/cd player. As modern as it gets. · New black vinyl convertible top. Black cloth top optional (but highly recommended) procured and installed for $250 above high bid. · Chrome rims. Brand new low profile tires. Hugs corners by design. · One lovely, professional brand new interior in lunar grey. Subjectively, this car turns heads. Little boy in Fairfax, CA @ stop sign, “Dad, is that a Mustang?” Dad, “No, it’s a Spider”. Driver, (me), smug/thought-bubble: “God I love this car”.
