I have up for NO RESERVE ABSOLUTE AUCTION SALE I have a 2006 Mazda Speed6 Grand Touring Black on Black 274hp 2.3l Turbocharged intercooled all wheel drive 6 speed manual transmission family sedan rocket. This car is a rebuilder, but the title has already been converted to an Indiana Rebuilt Title not salvage. The title is still in the previous owners name. I never signed date or put any mark of any sort on the title so it is still open and clear and ready for the new owner to sign and title in there name. I tracked down the orginal owner of this car and it was a young lady in the suburbs of Chicago. She said the car was damged from a highway speed ecounter of an 8 point buck! This makes since because the bumper cover was torn but front structure, frame, support etc was untouched. This car has no frame damage all bolt on parts. The hood took the brunt of the damage. The deer smashed it down hard. The intercooler is right under the hood, it cracked the cosmetic cover (seen as low as $25 on Ebay), and broke the front mounting tabs of the intercooler. It in no way damaged core and holds pressure and boost fine, if you wanted to replace I have seen cheapest of $75 on ebay. The fenders are good, passender has a scratch from tip of hood. Don't get excited about the front bumper cover looking ok. Someone tried a repair and it is horrible. There maybe someone that could repair it but just plan on replacing. There is one on Ebay in chicago used for $200 plus shipping or about $450 at dealer. Good news is fogs lights look good along with side lights. radiator support cooling and ac all excellent. In the picture I posted of the front bumper off both headlights were working. They are Xenon/HID so the bulbs and ballast were good. right after I put the bumper back on the passenger side stopped working. The passenger headlight looks good in the picture but the back housing is destroyed and tabs broken, plan on buying another. The driver light appears to be fine. The passenger corner of the hood did get the corner of the windshield. Just paid $289 for mobile safelight to put a windshield in a mazda6 last month ( and free wipe blades lol) . The deer wrapped around took off the passenger mirror and dented the door and a hoof or antler put a ding on top of the door. I was going to replace the door and found a black door loaded ay LKQ in Topeka for $400. Someone may want to do the bodywork, but I was just going to repalce door. The passenger airbag is fine drivers did deploy. There is a set with belts on ebay for $399 right now you would just have to sell passenger when done. Only other noteable damage was likely unrelated and probably done at the salvage broker. the rear bumper has scuffs (maybe buffable), drivers outer corner light lens cracked and and the right exhaust pipe trim is cracked. That is all the body damage I am aware of. Might seem like a lot but it is just a detailed desription and you won't find another rebuilder on Ebay that someone takes the time to let you know exactly what you are bidding on and budgeting for repair. Powertrain- the powertrain is rock solid. These engines sell for $3000-$4500 alone. The engine is smooth quite and powerful. Not knocks, ticks, smoking, leaks or any worrying querks. Only note is I did get an engine code for the TPS (throttle position sensor). It runs great and I don't know why it has this code, but worse case used ones are $125. Clutch, transmission, transfer case, both diffs, and traction control excellent. Had the car at highway speeds and it is smooth and quite. The car has all four matching near new tires. Interior- all good no damage except airbag. smells nice, looks great. Bose system sounds great, all electronics seem to work., along with sunroof. Rear seats are roomy. I originally bought this car because I wanted a sporty for door because I have three kids. This is the car for that niche. In summary this is a great builder for someone who wants to just bolt parts on paint and go. No need for frame shop or mechanical, or suspension repair. Just cosmetic. The only reason I am selling is because I am selling every car or project I have and keeping one truck, one car, and my bike.
