Up for bids is this 1967 ford mustang fastback. This is a really good body for a rebuild project. I had planned on building it myself but as usual other things have came up so it is going to have to go. It has a really good structure. The frame rails and torque boxes are in good shape. It needs the normal sheetmetal work. The floor pans need replacing. The battery box area in the engine bay needs replacing. The passengers side trunk floor needs replacing. For some reason that section is rusted. The rest of the trunk floor and frame sections under it are in good shape. It needs a hood and trunk lid. It needs new front and rear valances. The passengers door is good but something hit it at some point so it will need a new skin on the outside. The rear quarters are in good solid shape but will need some minor work to fix some small dents. The front fenders will also need some work but are useable. This is a project so it needs rebuilding. I am trying to list everything it needs but I could possibly forget something. The glasses are all in it and in good shape except for the windshield. It is still the original paint on the car so you can see this is not a primered car covering up mounds of bondo. It is a solid original car. Someone had started taking it down for restoration so it is pretty much taken apart. The interior is there. It has the fold down back seat with deluxe front bucket seats. This car was originally a 6 cylinder car but has been switched over to a 5 lug V8 setup. I have taken lots of pics of the car. If you need more just let me know. These 67 fastbacks are one of the most sought after of the mustangs. If you have questions just ask. This would make a great candidate for a shelby or elanor clone. It would also make a great rebuild for a original car if that is what you want. Also if you want to come look at it you are more than welcome to just let me know and we can set up a time. I am not trying to hide anything and am trying to be as honest as possible about the car. Everyone please read this and understand it before you bid. Ask all questions before you bid not after you bid. Also make 100% sure you want to buy it before you bid. It cost me money and time to list it so please don't waste my time. I am not trying to sound rude but in the past I have had several people that would bid and win stuff then change there minds so please just make sure you want it before you bid. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I can store it for one month but will require full payment within seven days of the end of auction. I will require either a certified bank check that I can call and verify is good or cash in person when the car is picked up. I am not trying to be difficult but there is to much funny money floating around. I will not accept pay pal. All tires will hold air and it will roll to load on a trailer.
