1985 ASC Mclaren, Mercury Capri, 2 seat convertible. Based on a reinforced Fox body (Mustang) chassis. Extremely rare, this is number 215 out of 550 that were made from 1985 to 1986. Powered by a 5.0 Ford V8, tuned by Mclaren Racing Engines with fuel injection, higher compression, 302 cam, roller lifters and tubular headers. ASC made the custom bodywork (everything from the windshield back) A 2 seat convertible, lowered sport suspension, massive anti-sway bars and quad shocks, heavily reinforced chassis, windshield raked 10%, Recaro seats, leather interior and wood dashboard. Car is in good drivable condition, 98k miles, 2 year old top, tires, new alternator, water pump. Small dent on passenger side A few very small rust bubbles on trunk lid.
