Vehicle Detail
1966 AMC Marlin One of 4,545 ever made. 327 V-8 with 4 barrel carb. Automatic transmission Factory ice-cold air conditioning New power steering pump New brakes Newer exhaust system New radiatior hose Newer tires This car is part of a very large collection of automobiles that a family friend has asked me to help liquidate. This car has been in indoor storage for quite some time, unused. It has had a restoration done on the body. It is a very nice job from 7-10 feet away. To see that filler was used you really do have to look underneath and you can see it in the rear quarter panels. But it's a darn nice looking car and the paint job is more than decent. The bottom of the car is decent and pretty solid. PLEASE SEE THE PICS. Don't take my word for ANYTHING, please see the pics. I just pulled it out of long term storage, and put on new brakes, power steering pump, charged up the AC, and put in some gas. It pretty much fires right up. It needs to be driven though. Might need a tune-up. It could run better. But I'd have no problem taking it on a 100 mile trip just the way it is, IMHO. The interior restoration has not been finished. It needs a headliner. It needs carpet. The back deck could use some trim work. The front seat covers are bad, but it appears that there are some originals in the truck that are nice and need to be installed (see pics). I don't think the radio works. I don't think the clock works. I don't think the horn works. I THINK everything else does. But again, it's been in storage a long time, so please...cut me a little slack (lol). This is a very rare car that you can take to the cruise in car shows just the way it is and it's a crowd pleaser. It gets alot of attention. In the short time that I've had it in my possession, I've taken it to maybe 4 car shows or cruise-in's and I've got nothing but positive response to it. As I said, it's not perfect, but it's under $4000 and worth much more than that in my opinion. I have more pictures if you would like. Prospective buyers are more than welcome to come and see it in person. I will ship at buyers expense. I will ship internationally at new owners expense. Bid to win !!
