Vehicle Detail

stewietuned Store Here it is - my "project" that i needs a new home. I picked up this car with a blown 250 inline 6 and broken powerglide transmission. Threw that int he trash and put in an engine from a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado - This is the L33 High Output all aluminum 5.3 engine witht eh good heads, 10:1 compresion and runs on 87 octane pump gas ! It's fueled by a brand new Holley 650 double pumper on top of an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake. MSD provides the correct timing to fire the engine. Transmission is a TH400 with a shift kit and handles the power no problem. Column Shifter still intact and 100% functional via the use of a Lokar Adapter. Rear end is an open 3.08 inside a 10 bolt 8.5". Interior is original to the car. the headliner is currently in the truck as it was removed by the previous owner for unknown reasons. The Pillar panels are in the car as well with the visors. Please view the pics for the condition of the interior. The electrical has all been replaced with a new modern fuse box and wiring. Power Steering with manual drum brakes - rear brakes just got a rebuild and the fronts are untouched. All glass is intact and fully functional. New door handles just installed after the paint as well as new door locks. Rust - floor pans were great upon my inspection. There is some patch work that has been done to the lower edges of the doors and smal parts of the front fenders. Car is in exceptional rust free shape beyond that. Fuel gauge is the only factory gauge still hooked up, Voltage, oil pressure and Engine temp are shown through autometer gauges. Lights work as do turn signals. Heater motor worked before the new harness went in, i did not run the electrical to it as i had no intentions of using it anymore, but it can easily be wired in with the extra spaces on the fuse box. Car was originally sold right here in california as the pictures show - Harbor Chevrolet - vehcile comes witht he protecto plate and manual as shown in the picture. I do have 2 videos of the car - they have poor sound and i apologize for that but i hope it helps even a little for those of you unable to come see the car in person. 1972 Chevrolet Nova - All Aluminum 5.3 L33 Engine - 799 Cylinder heads - Holley 650 Double Pumper - Edelbrock Aluminum Intake - MSD 6LS Ignition - New Style Alternator Correctly wired and 100% functional - Power Steering - New Water Pump and Thermostat - "Hot Rod" GM Engine oil pan with correctly reading dipstick - New Starter - New Fuse Panel and Electrical - TH400 Transmission w/Shift Kit - Autometer Gauges (Voltage, Oil Pressure and Engine Temp - lighting not installed) - Lokar Shift Linkage - All New 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series Mufflers - Correctly welded flanges to manifolds for easy removal if needed - Fresh Sherwin Williams Paint - Just painted less then a month ago -not perfect by any means but a very nice non-show quality paint job. Liek everyone else, i have a lot of money into this car and don't want to "give" it away - however, i did set the reserve real low and don't see this car lasting. Reason for selling is to pay off some bills. I wouldn't mind keeping the car but there are other priorities. The car does have a california salvaged title and clearly it has been repaired way befor ei got the car. when i had the car at the body shop i asked for it to be checked and it was cleared as good to go ! Unfortunately california doesn't have an inspection program to clear the title like most other states do, so it retains that branding. I do have the front bumper, you can have that with the car (uninstalled) as well as the lower widnshield trim piece and the interior panels. Buy it now - sure ! Shoot me an offer on it and i can add it. I will help in any way i can in shipping of the vehicle - it is your responsibility to set it up and prepay though. Car is sold as-is, feel free to ask me any questions. Inspections can be done by appointment - please email me. car is located in Anaheim, CA . . It's the cardboard like material thats on the roof - here are some more pics to help show it.
