1968 Chevrolet C-30 (1 Ton) Utility box (similar to a Stahl or Reading) Less than 5000 miles on restoration. Rebuilt drivetrain, 350 SBC with Edelbrock intake manifold with 1407 carb and K&N air cleaner, 4 speed (SM 465)manual transmission, new clutch assembly, 1.5 ton Rockwell differential, great sounding dual exhaust, power brakes & steering. 4 recent 235/85 R 16 tires other 3 tires in good condition. A/C cab but missing compressor, condenser and other parts,heater/defroster work great.Interior redone and looks great, New dash pad & gauge bezel with Sun Pro tachometer built in, speedometer works but is not accurate, original GM AM radio in dash not working, installed AM/FM HD/CD player overhead with kick panel and under seat speakers. Seat in good condition except drivers side seam is open, has seat cover on seat.New underdash and interior lights and wiring. New Yankee 77 cab lights, dual trumpet 125db electric horns and 3rd brake light. Body and paint work apx 6 years old and looks good. Bed is 10' with 4 storage compartments on each side, cabinets are locking but 3 locks missing, bed and cabinets are in excellent condition, floor is painted steel diamond plate. Rear bumper has Reese style hitch with wiring and plug for trailer lights and brakes. All glass is in good condition. Original glove box label and door jamb plates. Alum diamond plate running boards. When I purchased the truck was told the mileage was around 70,000, original odometer was showing 71,265 although truck appears to have been low miles I have no proof of this. I rebuilt the gauge cluster and replaced the speedometer, the odometer now shows 36,000 miles. Clear title. Truck runs, drives like new and looks great, needs nothing. I only used it to attend car shows, where it always drew a lot of attention, but it would make a great work truck with a lot of class. To answer some questions that I have been asked; This is a C-30 1 ton DUALLIE Transmission is manual 4 speed with 1st gear being a creeper gear Frame is extra clean, Front bumper is in very good condition except for some discoloring of the chrome would, clean up with some chrome polish and elbow grease Truck was painted GM Victory Red (WA5476 ) apx 6 years ago looks excellent except for area directly below gas cap, some discoloring and white specks, not seen from over 10' away most of which could probably be rubbed out.. Truck has not been driven during winter months,since the work was done apx 6 years ago. Striping on body and bed is silver. Truck is not a show truck but as the pictures show, it is in great shape and the finish is very good.
