You are bidding on a 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace Car Convertible, VIN# 1G1YY678XG5906415, which was ordered on a General Motors Employee Class A Discount and delivered in June 1986 to the original Owner by Bob Raynal Chevrolet, Inc., Port Huron, MI. I am the 3nd Owner of this vehicle. I have the complete owner history should you desire to contact the previous owners. The Corvette currently has only approximately 12,500 miles. Yes, that is correct; it is “just out of warranty!” It has been extremely pampered, only being driven on nice days, and never in the rain. The exterior, interior, frame and engine compartment tell the story. Please review the attached pictures.(Should you want specific pictures, please advise.) It is a very clean, almost new vehicle. According to both of the previous owners, no warranty work, nor anything was repaired or replaced except for the standard maintenance items. Most of the 86 Convertibles’ that you may find for sale have replaced interior, engine modifications, new tops, spoilers etc. This is all original (please remember that it is only a 12,000 mile car) except for the two following items: 1) New tires, and I still have the original tires that have approximately 11,745 miles on them. 2) An IPod connection that was designed to be hidden, and added to the back of the Original Bose Delco Radio so that you can listen to your favorite tunes thru the original system and not even know that an IPod is connected. It is powered by a 5.7 Liter (350 CID) Tuned Port Fuel Injection Engine, with a 4-Speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission.” It is the Classic White Exterior Color, with Custom Bright Red Leather Interior. The Convertible Top is a matching white color. It has the following Options: 6-Way Power Sport Seats, Power Windows, Power Door Lock System, Electronic Speed Control, Air Conditioning, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel, Delco Bose AM-FM Cassette Stereo Music System, and all the bells and whistles. This Corvette is well maintained. All of the normal maintenance type items have been meticulously maintained. All fluids were recently changed, and the new tires have approximately 500 Miles. I also have all of the original paperwork on the car; Build Sheet, Owner’s Manual and Glove Box Paperwork, Sales Brochure, Window Sticker, Bose Cassette, GM Wheel Locks, and even the Original Indy Pace Car Decals in the Original GM Box. The Indy Pace Car Decals were a Dealer applied item, and the original owner did not want them on his car. This Corvette has been in only two local Corvette Car Shows, and won first place in both shows for the C-4 Category. The Corvette has never been to a NCRS judged show. This Corvette looks, “smells,” and drives like it is still a new car. There are no inoperative items. There are no deficiencies in the Paint / Interior. Please examine my feedback rating. I have been selling on ebay since December of 1998 and I have a 100% Rating.
